Recognition of public accountants with foreign qualifications

Public accountants who are recognized within the EU/EEA (European Economic Area) to perform statutory audits, can be recognized as Norwegian State Authorized Public Accountants after passing an aptitude test requiring knowledge of Norwegian legislation. The aptitude test is arranged by the The Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway (Finanstilsynet).

There are no mutual recognition agreements with states other than the EU/EEA countries.

Recognition of Foreign Degrees and Transfer of Credits
